The Beverly Palms - neglected deco

I've had a fondness for this neglected art deco building ever since I moved to Lake Worth. Part of it is the name -- The Beverly Palms. It just sounds nice.  And I like the purple and the way the whitish stucco always looks against the blue sky. Someone bought it last year. Other people (investors who buy up stuff on Lakeside Drive) didn't want it because they said it was gutted inside and would take a lotta money to get it up and running with renters in it. Too much. But someone bought it and they seem to be doing something with it. But not very fast. I hope they don't change the door or the colors. I don't think they can. I don't think it would get through our Historic Resources Preservation Board.
